The Dr. Asha Cooper Scholarship
The Dr. Asha Cooper scholarship was created for those who possess the ability and lack the resources to attend institutions of higher education. Post-secondary education has multiple avenues which include college and trade school. Education is intended to enrich the mind regardless of how and who is teaching. This scholarship is given on the premise that everyone should have the opportunity to elevate themselves educationally, even if your path may not include college.
This award is for those individuals who may not always get chosen; because they may not have a high grade point average for academic scholarships or who may want to take up a trade instead of going to college. The Dr. Asha Cooper scholarship is for those who need a boost to ensure they can reach their highest potential.
Scholarships will be mailed directly to the college/university/trade school the applicant will be attending.
